New Patients at Chiropractic Advantage Healthcare
After you have booked your appointment, you will have the option of completing our new patient paperwork online or filling out the forms in our office. If you choose to complete the forms at our practice, please come in about 15 minutes early. If you are using insurance, please be sure to bring your ID and insurance information.
Your First Visit
When you enter our office we will help you with any necessary paperwork and take copies of your insurance card. Then, you’ll meet with Dr. LaBruzza.
He’ll talk with you about what prompted you to seek our care today, along with the history of the problem and any other treatments or assessments you’ve had for it. He’ll explain chiropractic care and how it works before moving on to your evaluation.
Your evaluation will include a variety of assessments, including chiropractic, orthopedic, and neurological exams.
Once he has completed your evaluation, Dr. LaBruzza will explain what is causing your pain or other symptoms and how chiropractic may be able to help. He’ll also let you know what the realistic outcome you can expect from care is. If he believes additional diagnostics such as X-rays or other testing are needed, he’ll explain why and make the appropriate referrals.
If no additional testing is required, you will typically receive your first adjustment at this visit.
You can plan to be with us for 30-45 minutes for this appointment.
Paying for Care
We are in-network with many insurance plans such as Horizon, Aetna, United Healthcare, AmeriHealth, and Medicare. We will talk with you prior to your appointment so that we can verify your coverage and let you know what your deductibles and copays are due ahead of time. We also accept all major credit cards, HSAs, and FSAs.
